COVER-UP & RE-WORK TATTOOS

Mythical Dragon Cover-Up

I got to do a cover-up on my best friend! She had an old quote with some pretty scarred-up stars. I strategically placed the dragon, with the quote tucked under the dark part of the wing.

Her old tattoo has evolved and represents who she is now and how far she has come!

“My #1 goal is to feel comfortable showing off my chest again.”

My awesome client wanted to restore her confidence! She wanted to cover up this skull with elements that reflect parts of who she is. She wanted a chrysanthemum and sparrow that represented her Chinese heritage, and mountains with a river for her love of hiking and all things outdoors.

After the first session, my client was already telling me about the tank tops she’s gonna order! This is the kind of feeling I want to give all my clients! I want them to look in the mirror and love what they see!

DICKSGUISE

A glorious Claw Machine win! Unfortunately, after a week with his new tattoo, my client was finding it difficult to come up with answers explaining it to his toddler who kept asking what his new tattoo was. I gave him a fun dicksguise and turned it into a Cowboy Cat Banana!

LITTLE ROSE HIP

My client came in with an existing cross tattoo from another artist. She was hoping to turn it into something that was more aligned with who she is now and envisioned a cute rose on her hip. I originally drew a larger rose for the space, but she really wanted to keep it as small as possible. She was delighted with the result giving her a cute accent just in time for summer!

My client came in with this existing tattoo of 3 little bugs from another artist. She collects ink from different artists in different places she has lived. She wanted an effervescent snail, an Aster flower, and a way to connect it all so it became one cohesive piece. I love how it all came together with so much color and personality!

ADDING TO EXISTING CRITTERS

THE OLD BLOOMING INTO THE NEW

My client came in wanting to partially cover her first tattoo she got years ago. She wanted to somehow morph it into a new tattoo connecting 3 Stargazer Lilies while giving the piece some flow down to the top of the foot. I( love how it bloomed and blended into her new tattoo!

HONESTLY PRETTY HONEST

My awesome client here had a 10+ year-old tattoo she wanted to bring back to life. I decided to add some decoration and make the key more badass to align more with my client!

FUN REWORK

& ADD ON

My client had an old tattoo of one of her favorite characters from a cartoon she used to watch and wanted to add the character’s partner with some sort of background that tied them together. I went for a fun burst background that was on brand for the period and made them pop together!

My client came in with this existing tattoo of a crescent moon and mini morning glory. She hated that when she bent her arm the points of the crescent were too aggressive and distracting. She wanted to add larger Morning Glories and vines and somehow make the moon blend in more and become less distracting. By shading the points and having the moon blend more subtly into the background your attention now moves to the flowers instead!

ADDING TO EXISTING Moon

GIVE ME SOMETHING PRETTY & NEW

My client had an old tattoo she was looking to cover up with a flower and geometric background and elements.
